Have you ever thought or said the following...
1. I don't want my child to lose all his/her growth over the summer.
2. I wish I could find reliable and frequent support for my child from a trained practitioner who uses strategies for his/her Dyslexia
3. Kindergarten/School is not like it was when I grew up. I want someone to make learning fun and give my child a strong foundation in literacy
4. Large class sizes are making it impossible for my child to get the 1:1 assistance he/she needs to advance
5. I would like my child to have a temporary boost now to prevent needing long term support later in his/her schooling
6. I need a nonfamily member to teach my child to learn to read/write in a calm, quiet setting
You are certainly not alone! I truly care.

Early Mindfulness and Social Skills
While our brains are constantly developing throughout our lives, connections in the prefrontal circuits are created at their fastest rate during childhood. Mindfulness, which promotes skills that are controlled in the prefrontal cortex, like focus and cognitive control, can therefore have a particular impact on the development of skills including self-regulation, judgment and patience during childhood.
